The eminent brand, Louis Vuitton has achieved a remarkable breakthrough since the company has officially became the world’s leading luxury name brand, according to Interbrand. The top five brands in the world are of course Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Coca-Cola. Although LV ranks at #18 as the top “luxury” with Nike ahead at #17 as the top non-luxury brand.
Coco Chanel sits at #23, Hermés #32 and Gucci has climbed from #51 to #39.
Louis Vuitton growth and obtaining the top possibly has a lot to do with Virgil Abloh being appointed the artistic director of men’s wear back in March. He made his first entrance at the runway debut in June at Paris Fashion Week, leading an unforgettable rainbow runway that saw Skepta, Kid Cudi and more walk the runway while showing the captivating styles.
