[ Exclusive Interviews] 50th NAACP Image Awards Non-Televised Dinner

[Written By: Breanna Chi’anne] hosts attended the 50th NAACP Image Awards Non-Televised Dinner red carpet and it was a magnificent event. Not only because of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, but due of the overwhelming feeling of pride being among African-American greatness. Make sure to check out our interviews!

As the ceremony persisted in the event center at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, press was able to confine into a near by headquarters to watch the event led by the wonderful ladies of The Real live on a monitor. Award winners graced us with their presence one after the other post-receiving their honors. Every recipient from big screen actors to authors and musical artists made sure to leave a lasting impression with photo opportunities and a few interview questions.

Image trophy in hand, smiling ear to ear, dressed to nines, the elite were more than grateful to be recognized for their achievements by such a prestigious platform. Legendary icons like Lynn Whitfield (Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series for Greenleaf) and Angela Bassett (Outstanding Wnsemble Cast In A Motion Picture for Black Panther) welcomed newcomers like Marsai Martin, who won both “Outstanding Performance By A Youth” and “Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy.”
